Hi Nathalie Have you heard the good news on the stem cells for repigmentation of the skin that should be tested on human in 2 or three years from know. Check I-Stem newa-publication august 2011
VEN in my case i ate lots of red meat before i have vitiligo. funny thing is my doctor did a completed blood check on me he said everything look good no auto immune disease either. i have couple spot on my cheek and one on the eye lid. I have not had red meat for the last 7 months and it seem to get better.
I think ZZ is right Red meat is the source of B12 vitamins. So far when it comes to Vitiligo and Vitamins most sources( Doctors/researchers) have indicated a deficiency in B12/Folic Acid.
how was the surgery goes zz?
i am also suffering from vitiligo and i have vitamin b12 deficiancy if any one identifies vitiligo in primary stage please increase diet of vitamin b12. and do exercise daily and try to follow ayurvedic treatment also it will help you to increase the immune system of body
UV treatment seems to work well on Vitiligo. i think no one has ever found a permanent cure for this disease.
