My body reacted to B12 shots as quick as lightning!

In case you didn’t read this comment on one of my earlier blogs, I thought it worth reprinting.

I just started B-12 shots for another medical condition and found that it is repigmenting the vitiligo on my body, especially around my lips and eyes in a matter of days.I have used Paba & L-PHENALALALYNE, the piss w/ the light box, grafts ect. these shots have reacted to my body as quick as lightning!!!!!

  1. I have been getting B12 shots twice a week for 2 months now…unfortunatly, I see no results. I have tried numerous things, but nothing is working. My last hope is some herbs I am getting from another country. wish me luck.

  2. My b12 is medically normal. However, 75% of the time I receive a b12 shot after an extended period of going without a shot, my energy level picks up dramatically for days. Additionally, b12 reverse my vitiligo in 2 of 3 injections I have taken. I have now gotten a total of 3 injections, the first arrested the spread and reversed small recent spots. the 2nd I do not think did anything. the 3rd is reversing patches on my right arm that have been there for a couple fo weeks now. I suspect b12 injections work for more recent patches in less extreme appendanges (e.g., inner forearm better than say elbow). I am now going to start self-injecting every two weeks for 3 months and see hwo the effect is. I may inject weekly for first 3 weeks, however.

  3. my daughter has vitiligo and we are looking into b12 vitamins for help we have heard great reviews, if anyone has any input on this plz let me know she is only 10 1/2 and i wanna make the right decisions for her.

  4. hello Guys,
Im on Gerovital pills and injections for 4 weeks now and I have seen some ‘browing’ coming up in some parts of the body. overall i fell more clamer and try not to overdo it with tea coffee as the drug itself its gives me some short of ‘high’. I will try B12 shots in the days that I do not use gerovital and to reply to some of the question just above, 1000mcg seems to be ok for a monthly dosage however i will start with a blood test to see if i have a problem to begin with. do uour research and ask as many questions are possible. all the best

  5. Thanks to all. This informaiton is very valuale. I have tried all that I know to combat my vitiligo! Ligh therapy helps but doesnt last, once you stop treatment the darken areas come back. I am going to try the shots. Will update my progress.

  6. please could you give me contact name for the DOCTOR in Sweden, i am living in Sweden so it would be great to get some help

  7. hi, renee, where do u get the b12 and folic shots from is it from the doctor or pharmacy, would love to get rid of this embarrising complaint, thanks paul

  8. Hi Marie,
Here is a quote from an email I received from a doctor in Sweden who successfully treats vitiligo patients.

“Regarding your question about Vitamin B12: Cyanocobalamin is certainly harmless (regarding its cyanide-portion in the compound). But Methylcobalamin has a better biological availability with a better absorption and intracellular penetration. On the other hand some people (a few only) have a basic problem with B12 absorption in all forms. They would benefit more from B12 injections (1000 mcg 3 x /week in the first 2 months, then 2 injections per week in the next 2 months and after this 2 injections per months for unlimited time). Better would be injections with a combination of B12 plus B6 and Folic acid in one shot.”

So far I am only taking B12 and Folic acid because that is the combination that has worked for a few with whom i’ve spoken; however, since i am dealing with hypothyroidism too, i may end up having to add to the collection of vitamins i take.

    thanks for your comment!

  9. Can you tell me more about the effect of the B12 shots? What else are you taking that seems to help?
    Thank you.

    Marie
