Vitiligo Cures From Around The World

hugA couple of months ago I began searching the internet for vitiligo success stories when I came across one that showed me that I was on the right track with my experiment.

Ilana is from Sweden and has been dealing with vitiligo, alopecia, and psoriasis. Her site describes how she stuck with a regiment of taking B12, Folic Acid, and tanning her skin, to re-pigment her skin. What I appreciated most about finding this information was the fact that she showed before and after photo’s which clearly show a 90% success in re-pigmentation.

The promise held in vitiligo patents

patentNot being a member of the medical/scientific community, I am not privy to the day to day goings on when it comes to learning about the latest advancements in finding a cure for vitiligo, but with the help of the United States Patent and Trademark office, I can get a general picture of current and past works which seem promising for future use.

I had a great time perusing the patents given in hopes of developing the perfect cure…or at least helpful methods of lessening the effects of vitiligo. Okay, some of the information is a little technical and at times a bit difficult to understand, but have a look anyway. You may walk away feeling confident that a cure may be close at hand.

Tanning bed as an alternative

questions-via-emailHi Nathalie,

I am experimenting with taking B12, folic acid, and Vitamin C. I have had positive results, but I have read that one needs sunlight to help gain further repigmentation. Can you let me know the recommended time one can sit in the tanning bed without being in danger of burning. Thank you very much for all your useful information.

Could someone crush black pepper?

Nathalie, I read your article about pepper possibly improving repigmentation in vitiligo patients.  I have had vitiligo for nearly 10 years.  However, it is a very mild case and was not exposed on my face until a few years ago.  My dermatologist has put me on a topical cream that doesn’t seem to do much … Read more

The Instant Vitiligo Cure: Your Shining Personality

I wish I could share with you each of the emails that I receive from people with vitiligo, just so you could see that others feel the same way that you do at times about having patchy skin. I can’t though because sometimes a soul is bared through the writings and unless the emailer asks me to publish it, I will not.

Come on…just give me a hint.

Vitiligo: A State of Mind

I received a comment today from a woman who thinks that she might have vitiligo and her words made me take pause to think. She spoke of having a few autoimmune diseases in her family and about the research she has done to try and find a cure for her own ailments.

The medical community may not agree with patients searching for a cure for their own condition since they have little or no medical training as to the specific complexities of the human body, but from a psychological standpoint, I think it’s the greatest emotional healer. It’s how they get their power back.

An Idea That’s Working

nathalie vitiligo emailsI received this comment today…

Hello everyone, I am from Western New York. The treatments I have been doing, seem to have had a positive change. I am taking folic acid, Vitamins E and C, as well as PABA two to three times a day. In doing this, I have started to get large patches of brown spots.
Good Luck to everyone on our individual searches!!

and wanted to share our email exchanges that followed…

Subject: great site

Message: Just want to thank you for the fantastic site. I have been suffering from Vitiligo for 25 years. I only had a few very small spots and didn’t even know what it was until I started to rapidly de-pigment about 4 years ago. Within a matter of months my body was taken over with white spots and I can hardly remember what it was like to enjoy shorts and a tee shirt with out every one staring.

Hi Nathalie, I hope you don’t mind getting an email from a stranger. I found your contact information after doing a bit of online reseach on Vitiligo. I came across this: https://www.pr.com/press-release/41913. Within the last year my mother was diagnosed with Vitiligo. We understand that there is no treatment for this disease, however, we would … Read more
