Hi Nathalie,
I hope you don’t mind getting an email from a stranger. I found your contact information after doing a bit of online reseach on Vitiligo. I came across this: http://www.pr.com/press-release/41913. Within the last year my mother was diagnosed with Vitiligo. We understand that there is no treatment for this disease, however, we would really appreciate if you let us know about the self tanning product that you speak of and where we can purchase it.
Hi
Of course I don’t mind if you contact me. It is my pleasure to answer any questions that I can. First let me say that there are treatments available, it’s just that people respond differently to the various treatments, so it’s difficult to find an exact match to fit ones needs. Since your mothers vitiligo is so new, I’d first start with taking vitamin B12, Folic acid, and sunning outside for about 30 minutes each day. It’s the most common treatment I have heard that works.
As for the wonderful tanning lotion, I am in the process of getting that product line back up again and I would be happy to let you know when it’s available. Just let me know if you’re interested.
All the best,
Nathalie
Nathalie,
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll definitely suggest the vitamin B12 and the Folic Acid. Although, I heard that sun tanning outside may not be the best immediate option as it makes the white spots more prominent next to the unaffected area.
We are definitely interested in learning more about the product and would be happy to hear from you when it’s ready. We’re located in Toronto, Canada.
Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing from you.
