Hi Everyone…It’s been too long since I’ve given any updates on my XTRAC laser treatments, but ever since my computer crashed (and no, I didn’t make periodic backups of all my important files…note to self: take time to copy your work!), I’ve been in a sort-of lazy limbo. The thought of re-installing all of the pertinent programs, however necessary, seems too daunting to attack. And as of late, personal issues unrelated to my vitiligo have stolen my attentions.
My laser treatments are going wonderfully. My elbows and knees are almost completely re-pigmented. My hands have many pigmented areas and my face is showing some pigmentation. The slower pigmentation on my face is due to the fact that my dermatologist is using a lower UVB setting so as to not burn my face; however, we’ve deduced that minor burning of the areas on my elbows and knees is what triggered the massive onset of color in those areas, so last week, she used a higher setting on my face. I had a very busy weekend, socially, and it was a little bit difficult walking around with a chin that looked like raw meat…I guess vanity got the best of me there.
I know you want to see pictures of this progress, I’m doing my best to get them online, but again, my computer isn’t recognizing all of the originally installed hardware. Ughhh! If anyone out there is computer savvy and knows a way to return my computer to it’s original state without spending hundreds of dollars, please shoot me an email. ( It’s an HP pavillion a1310n)
