Before noon, my mind has already told me a thousand different ways how unlovable I am or how useless my presence on this magical planet is. Keeping my thoughts loving is an hourly struggle.
The mere thought that what our heads are telling us, that the little voice inside of us could give us false information is absurd. Our brains know what it’s talking about, how could it not? The brain reminds us how to breathe, when to sleep, or eat, it should know whether we are loved or a respectable human worthy of a friend.
Unfortunately, the mind can keep our body alive but our psyche? Forget about it.
All hope is not lost, with a lot of hard work and a whole lot of repetition, you can train your brain to send thoughts of love and encouragement. You can find, within yourself, the true love you’ve been searching for.
This will not be an overnight transformation. At first, you might have 999 negative thoughts and only 1 self-powering thought before noon but put the smile back on your face and watch the underdog win the race.
You are worth it, you are beautiful, you are smart, and you will feel empowered again.
Let’s together restart the inner-dialogue that plays inside of our heads and feel loved once again.
Step one: Set a reminder on your phone for noon with the title “I am loved”
Let this be your daily reminder or your kick starter each day to having more positive and self-loving thoughts. It’s an easy way to start the journey to self-love. Send me a screenshot of your alarm or leave a comment declaring your dedication to restarting your inner-dialogue and the journey to self-love.
